About Mike and Maple Peaks

The person, the parent company, and the ventures that sit under one roof.

I am Mike Marshall

I am a technology executive, entrepreneur, and creative problem-solver. Through Maple Peaks, LLC, I bring together the threads that run through my work: scalable systems, simpler processes, intelligent automation, publishing, and ventures that help people explore and learn.

As CTO of Namify and Chief Technology Officer at AXOMO, my career has focused on building platforms, leading technology strategy, and turning complicated operational problems into systems that are easier to run. FeatherQuest and Quail Pages grew from the same instinct in different arenas.

Background and credentials

CTO of Namify

Current leadership

Technology leadership shaped by years of building and evolving complex business platforms.

CTO at AXOMO

Since 2015

Chief Technology Officer at AXOMO since July 2015, helping build a web platform from client feedback and operational needs.

Founder & Creator of FeatherQuest

Since 2025

Launched a gamified birding brand that combines adventure, education, books, guides, and community experiences.

Computer Science, BYU

Education

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, the technical foundation under the systems work.

My path at Namify began in late 2007 as Director of IT, moved through VP of Technology, and led to CTO. That long arc matters: I have lived with the consequences of technology decisions, not just handed them off.

Why these ventures belong together

FeatherQuest turns birding into an adventure people can join. Quail Pages turns website building into a structured system people can reason about. Maple Peaks is the house for both, plus the consulting work that helps other organizations define processes, automate carefully, and use AI with judgment.

FeatherQuest

Publishing, photography, community, and guided discovery.

Quail Pages

Structured websites, authored JSON, themes, and a calmer way to publish.

Consulting

Senior technology judgment for process, automation, AI-native architecture, and scalable systems.

Based in Utah, working through systems

I am Utah-based. The public record points to the Mapleton and Springville area, but the work travels through the systems themselves: platforms, books, guides, websites, and the teams learning to run them well.

Maple Peaks is intentionally personal. If you work with the company, you are working with the judgment behind the ventures, not a generic agency layer.

Start a conversation

Use email when you want to talk through consulting, self-publishing guidance, FeatherQuest, or Quail Pages.

The fastest path is a short email. Say what you are trying to improve, where the process feels stuck, or what you want to build. Maple Peaks will reply from there.
